but do I feel ZERO sense of sympathy for Zimmerman having to look over his shoulder the rest of his life

Either he can disappear and hide from attention, or he can be his own worse enemy and stay in the spotlight.

Don't forget, he has a relative who's accused him of molesting her multiple times over a number of years.

People like Zimmerman make their own bad karma.

served to make him more smug. Bet he sheds the baby fat now that he is no longer going for the helpless look, and get back to his preferred stalker shape.

He may have a contingent of racist gun nuts supporting him, but that does not make him mainstream.

The stigma of what he's done, in addition to the other revelations about him, should make him pretty much as persona non grata as OJ became.

And unlike OJ, he may have been found not guilty, but it's clear that he murdered Trayvon. There is no question that Zimmerman shot him. There is a far more tangible record of Zimmerman's crime.
