As far as I am concerned, each and every minority in the state of Florida needs to arm themselves immediately. Illegal carry my royal minority ass. That's like saying 'illegal religion". It is your RIGHT to carry a gun, and had that boy been armed, he may have been able to protect himself.
EACH AND EVERY MINORITY CITIZEN IN FLORIDA SHOULD ARM THEMSELVES AT ONCE. You don't *need* permission. You have the Constitution. It is your *right*. And this verdict shows the police won't protect you. Hell...they won't even investigate your murder, they'll just take the word of the man who shot you.

10. Slightly OT, but I wonder if once more minorities in FL arm themselves,

will this perhaps make the GOP budge on gun control? If I recall correctly, that was kind of what happened under Reagan in the 80s. Once the Black Panthers started arming and defending themselves from police brutality, he advocated tougher gun laws.
