12. Honestly, I worry a lot more about George Zimmermans than the NSA

Others may not agree. But I worry more about assholes with guns shooting people in the street for no good reason, then someone listening in on my phone calls or reading my email. (I'm a boring person. And I just don't think the stuff I write on DU is enough to get the gubmint in my grill.)

I also worry more about women suffering with reproductive slavery than the NSA.

And I worry about things getting a lot worse as the corrupt American Taliban tightens its grip on the voting process.

But yeah, if we could peel away those things, then I'd probably be yelling about the NSA too.

13. I've lived through some

hard thing in this life that I had to take with a Grain of salt. but this is the Hardest shit I have ever had to Stomach. This has been a hell of a year, you are right Mr. Scorpio. Justice for my sons is something I can never hope for in America. The Heart of every mother of children of color knows what they are saying to us. Yousef Hawkins, Emmett Till, Trayvon Martin, any child of color is not safe in America. It doesn't matter if it is the 1950's or February 26, 2012.
