This is from the "make them deny it" school of politics. Barak Obama should make keeping birth control LEGAL central to his campaign. Don't get bogged down in affordability and availability... cut to the chase. It's sure fire. (And considerably more honest than running for office on comparable promises like "As long as George Bush is President we will not wave the white flag of surrender to the terrorists.&quot

Make Romney go around saying, "Gosh, nobody favors birth control more than I do."

I am commited to the United States remaining a modern nation where women can make rational decisions about whether or not they want to get pregnant. The Republican candidates want to give states the green-light to outlaw condoms and diaphragms and birth control pills. They suggest that any woman, married or not, who uses birth control is on the moral level of a prostitute. I disagree.

As long as I am president birth control pills and condoms are going to remain legal. Period. I will veto any bill that tries to outlaw birth control. There's no maybe about it... I will veto it in a heartbeat.

Obama should certainly take advantage of it. Force the Repugs to oppose legal birth control simply because Obama is for it.
