(68,644 posts)I was robbed on East Houston St on the way to the market, Key Foods on Second IIRC....
Four people in all came up from behind me, one with an arm around my chest and knife to my throat and one on each side going through pockets and one going through my wallet.
They were kind of pushy insisting that I must be carrying drugs but I insisted that I had none, and I asked politely if I might keep my keys and wallet and ID after they took my money.
The knife guy told the others to give me back my papers before they left.
I almost felt like saying "thank you." In fact, maybe I did!
Now that's professional!
