Freeper: "GLORY, GLORY, HALLELUJA! I REALLY WANT THIS TO BE TRUE, DEAR LORD! PLEASE LET IT BE TRUE!"

Freeper thread:

Sarah Palin says she is "game" for another run for office

Fox Business interviewer Eric Bolling asked about the possibility of a so-called "brokered convention" in Tampa, Florida, in August -- a scenario many consider unlikely.

Palin told Bolling she thinks "it could get to that," and if it does "all bets are off."

The former Alaska governor, who has made no secret of her distrust of Romney and desire for a more conservative nominee than the former Massachusetts governor, reiterated her desire for the nominating process to play itself out.

"If it had to be kind of closed up today, the whole nominating process, then we would be looking at a brokered convention. I mean nobody is quite there yet, so I think that months from now, if that is the case, then you know, all bets are off as to who it will be, willing to offer up themselves up in their name in service to their country. I would do whatever I could to help," Palin said.

Convention delegates are usually political heavyweights, not intellectual flyweights like the freepers. They are not going to nominate someone who would guarantee a landslide by the Democrats in 2012.

I do think it'd be interesting if they decided they had no chance, and let her have it simply as a way blame their loss on her rather than the fact that the entire party is bugfuck insane.

People throw around "brokered convention" like it's some kinda bypass around both the party and the system. Remember that the rushpublicans changed their primary system to be more like the Democrats...a system designed to put a majority of the delegates in the hands of the party elite. For every delegate selected there'll be two or three party aparachniks who will also be in that delegation.

If it comes to a brokered convention it'll be those aparachniks who will have the final say and, as you say, they're not going to nominate someone who already has lost and it can be shown that she probably cost gramps mccain Florida and several other "swing" states. The good ole boys will find one of their own and Mooselini will fade further into oblivion.

I get a kick that most times she shows up on Faux these days its on their "Business" channel that no one watches...she's gone from "mustsee TV" to third tier cable.

after all of the debates are over so she doesn't have to risk saying anything. She's lazy.

She wants this without having to work for it. She really expects that the GOP will just hand her the nomination. Maybe they will but it still won't help them.
