AT 219 PM EDT...TRAINED WEATHER SPOTTERS REPORTED A ROTATING WALL CLOUD OVER BEDFORD HEIGHTS. A TORNADO IS POSSIBLE AT ANY MOMENT. THIS STORM WAS MOVING EAST AT 30 MPH. PEOPLE IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM SHOULD TAKE SHELTER IMMEDIATELY.
LOCATIONS NEAR THE PATH OF THE POSSIBLE TORNADO INCLUDE...CHAGRIN FALLS...SOUTH RUSSELL...BAINBRIDGE...CHESTERLAND...AQUILLA...BURTON AND MIDDLEFIELD.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
THE SAFEST PLACE TO BE DURING A TORNADO IS IN A BASEMENT. GET UNDER A WORKBENCH OR OTHER PIECE OF STURDY FURNITURE. OTHERWISE...SEEK SHELTER ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF THE BUILDING IN AN INTERIOR HALLWAY OR ROOM SUCH AS A CLOSET.
A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 800 PM EDT WEDNESDAY EVENING FOR NORTHERN OHIO AND NORTHWEST PENNSYLVANIA.

(26,004 posts)Tornado warnings in my county. My surge protector kicked out the 'puter a couple of minutes ago. LOUD thunder. Waiting for the wall of rain to arrive shortly. Winds up to 70 mph reported in the area. I'm ready to head for the basement if necessary.

The temp was close to 90 earlier and is now 70.

(502 posts)The son in law just got sent home from work after destructive winds knocked them offline, no one hurt but several cars in the parking lot damaged. This was our second amazing line of storms to go through today.
