This segment is outstanding. Rachel details Republican State legislatures passing bills requiring employers, including church-sponsored hospitals and universities and even churches, to provide birth control. State after state.
She also details the Republican governors signing these bills. You know, guys like Mike Huckabee and Mitt Romney. Now the Mittster calls the exact same bill "an assault on religious liberty".

(3,922 posts)The period is for emphasis.
Can someone please tell me how the knuckle-dragging republicans, like Virginia governor Bob McDonald, Santorum, et.al. who are aggressively pushing severe and invasive limitations to female reproductive health measures are any different (sans guns, for now) than Taliban enforcers that shut down schools for females or whip women in public?
There is no difference in general nor in principle. The republicans have crossed the line. They are attempting to impose their own warped religion-based beliefs as public policy and law. In 2012. In America.
I ask you: Who is the enemy to our freedom?
Make no mistake about this: Women will lose their right to reproductive health and choice. Next, they come for gay people. Then, it's anyone who objects. These people are dangerous enemies to our freedom and should be treated as such.

The GOP is like the Black Knight in "Monty Python and The Holy Grail", where he completely ignores the truth of his predicament and continues to try to boastfully fight without any limbs, outright lying and making excuses for what is happening around him.
