The Last Word @CecileRichards on the last word from TX: Ive never seen in my yrs of organizing the kind of outpouring and concern about this legislation
As we take this bus around Texas, we are noticing there is overwhelming opposition to this bill from the state.

(5,279 posts)...I stand in deep respect of what Texas women are doing. They appear to be doing fine without the tenuous support of my physical presence (long commute from wisconsin).

(8,515 posts)I believe in Texas women. I have many close relatives that live in that state.
I am surprised that Louisiana is not in the mix, nor, it seems, is Georgia. Any opinions on why that is? Louisiana's absence could be because of the Presidential leanings of Gov. Jindal. Not sure about Georgia.

(53 posts)I hope Texas women will remember all the bills Republicans have sponsored and passed to take away their rights. I hope they will stand up and vote to remove the Republicans who seem to be living in some kind of 40's time warp. Ladies, let's turn Texas blue again.
