Mitt Romney's early years in his *home state* of Michigan - He attended Cranbrook, the most expensive, most exclusive school in this or any other nearby state. A school with its own art museum. Its own science institute. An endowment fund that'd boggle your eyes.
The full wording of the gate is: "Cranbrook School A.D. 1927." The "Peacock Gate" was designed by Eliel Saarinen. In the background is the Quadrangle Fountain.
