...
The Hawthorne Police Department has since pulled three police officers from street duty after they began receiving death threats according to the department.
Following a massive backlash from citizens, one Hawthorne officer took it upon himself to inform the departments critics of his feelings toward the incident in a strange, nearly incoherent, Facebook rant.
One of the best departments in the state one on looker with no business being there, if he wouldnt have stopped but with his oen agenda wanting to record a mistake by the HPD and there was none cost him his dog, said Officer Vasquez.
The few of you out there that dont trust your police move.
Vasquez went on to call for Rosbys prosecution, claiming Rosby should be charged for the death of his own dog.
Want to blame someone blame the dog owner for not minding his own business and putting himself and the officers in harms way, he should be prosecuted to the fullest letter of the law including the death of his pet, said Vasquez.

Please note: The website in the link is a little loony (the author has written for InfoWars)...however, he does have the screen shot of the FB page from the cop.

(20,819 posts)really know all the facts or the full situation so I'm not yet ready to pass any judgment. However, this clueless officer does himself and his dept. absolutely no favors at all by posting this kind of incoherent gibberish ranting publicly, especially considering the public backlash and his total and complete lack of any responsibility whatsoever and his call for full prosecution of the owner of the dead dog that he killed. That's only going to add fuel to the fire and can legally be used against him and the dept. in any legal proceedings.
I would think that the city attorney would have been all over these cops' cases, telling them to stay the hell quiet and keep low for awhile and certainly not to post anything publicly. I'm really surprised that this cop at least didn't recognize that and keep his rants to himself for the moment.

(8,514 posts)The cops obviously arrested the guy because he was filming them. That's his right. Then, when they started manhandling him, his dog jumped out of the car window and they shot the dog.
Sorry, but the cops are at fault.
