I come home from work on a Friday - MSNBC on the west coast is already airing Lockup so we don't get the usual news lineup. Now tonight CNN has on something called Boston's Finest..... why is there no news on? This sucks. So much going on in the world and CNN has a show like Cops on ...... I don't get it.

Meanwhile, the world is going to hell in a handbasket. It's not that I don't care about what happens with the trial, but I would like to see what else is going on in the world. The only news I've seen this week has been on DU.

9. Even Current runs docs on cannabis, boarder patrol

docs, etc. Stephanie in the morning is entertaining but very light in the news department.
We are being isolated from world events and told what "they" want us to know.

15. July 4th was close to a weekend this year. So, they are most likely on autopilot.

I think most of the news stations are either on autopilot or they have their D List talking heads doing any talking that would need to be done.

Oddly enough, I haven't watched Fox News in years, but the thing I noticed at a family get together years ago was that while all the other stations were on autopilot, Fox News had their flunkie D List talking heads on yakking away, even on a holiday. That is how their propaganda machine works so well in numbing so many unsuspecting minds. It is on in the background for who knows how many family holiday gatherings, preaching idiocy all through the holidays.
