And when I finally did watch it a couple years ago, I was surprised at how many character actors I recognized who had later appeared in various television shows....

in its entirety only last spring. I thought it was well done. I don't know if any producer would have the guts to make a feature film today with the entire thing set in a single room.

I wasn't thinking of a remake, I was thinking of the pressure it is these days so that a producer would not take the risk. It's hard to believe, but Glengarry Glen Ross was over 20 years ago and Death of a Salesman (the film) came out 28 years ago.

I made the mistake of telling my kids I bought a typewriter when I got to college (mid 80s). They think I'm a dinosaur. Of course I had already told them we only had one TV that only got 3 channels and we had to get up and change the channel by turning a knob on the TV. i think one of them asked what a knob was and why was there one on the TV. (Duh, to change the channel.)

16. I don't know about the justice system, but in the film, it was portrayed like ours.

As I recall, it took place in a gym rather than what we would call a jury room.
