The GOP “Reality Show”
I’ve never watched “Hoarders,” “Billy the Exterminator,” “Intervention,” and I have no idea what a Kardashian is. But I’ve seen promos for all of them which are enough to convince me not to watch.
However, it’s impossible to avoid the GOP “Reality Show” unless you throw away your TV. It’s hard to know whether to laugh, cry, or just move to someplace where these people don’t exist.
But in our current reality, they do exist.
I really don’t know how any sentient human being can take the current crop of candidates seriously. Like many people, I’ve always been afraid of circus clowns, but I’m far more afraid of this crop of clowns (which includes the entire GOP).
Our society seems to be rapidly moving back to the dark ages. And the only outcry seems to be coming from liberal blogs.
So here’s my question. Where do those of us who are still sane go to escape? (Then again, perhaps sanity is just a state of mind.)
