Now we know: sheriffs can spout definitions of marriage: "Marriage is only for...'a good citizen' "
This post has nothing to do with the name/accused involved, just with the idea of somebody spouting definitions of marriage. I would guess a jail administration can bar events taking place inside and that at trial the marriage can be challenged as fraudulent. I'm just reacting here to some/any yokel, with or without a government title, spouting their own personal definition of marriage (or other things). Besides, veering off into the legalities, there's something called Common Law marriage, such that the people involved can claim to be already married?

Marriage is only for someone whos a good citizen, according to the sheriff of Bristol County, Mass., where the former New England Patriot is being held without bail for the execution-style murder of his friend, Odin Lloyd, 27.
A marriage could shield fiancée Shayanna Jenkins, Hernandezs high-school sweetheart and the mother of his 7-month-old daughter, from having to testify.
I dont subscribe to that, Bristol County Sheriff Thomas Hodgson told USA Today Sports, speaking of jailhouse weddings. Well do everything we can to not have that happen. ....
