... but I never felt that Morsi would last for long. Though somewhat genial, he is too rigid in religious beliefs and practice for it to work. Perhaps he was just a caretaker until the situation further sorted out, or the military regained it's bearings, so it appears.

Its is a messy messy thing, trying to change how a people govern themselves.. My husband reminded me yesterday it took us till 1789 to elect our first President.. we were all over the place trying to pull ourselves together.. I am sure Egypt will have its ups and downs as it moves forward..

The aspirations of the French Revolution took decades to lead to a democratic form of government. It took a lot more and a lot longer than one quick revolution.

This is is the PEOPLE of Egypt speaking to the PEOPLE of the US. You replied with authoritarian garbage. We joke about Republicans voting against their best interest believing they are embarrassed millionaires, and I can only think you authoritarians believe you are somehow embarrassed courtiers.
