You get a subsidy for healthcare if you make less than 94,000 dollars a year?

Sorry, no link. I just heard this on Chris Hayes show on MSNBC. It was Jerold Nadler (I think I spelled his first name wrong), the rep from New York. He was explaining why the delay for the employer mandate wasn't such a big deal.

Is this true?

There are subsidy calculators online that can give you ballpark estimates. BenzoDia Jul 2013 #1

But if you have a family with children, then you may receive some subsidies at that income. A single adult making that kind of money won't receive any assistance.

He didn't say that though. It was kind of misleading since he spoke in the singular.

Yes, you will.

You will get everything. Just wait. Also there is no such thing as being refused for pre-existing conditions now. Get your cheap insurance now. That 2014 thing, that's a lie. Cobra? Forget it. Just join up now if you don't have insurance and they have to take you.

I was making a joke about the people here that cannot and will not understand that we exist. They THINK that everything is ok. But they have insurance, and there is nothing like someone who has something telling someone that does not, AND calling them all types of things...it's insane.

Good thoughts to you and your husband. You are not alone in this mess.
