Yesterday's online edition of Der Spiegel contains 17 screens of outraged quotes by European leaders

...over the NSA spying on our allies. This is a big deal, folks, and the administration had best stop worrying about Snowden and the leaks, and start worrying about how it is going to re-establish trust with long-standing allies.

by rejecting all his asylum requests and denying President Evo Morales permission to fly over their airspace because Snowden might be on board.

I think the lost trust is a big deal too but the global 1% is sticking together.

keep releasing info so as to harm the US. Clearly a message made it to Russia.

And, other countries won't consider his asylum request unless and until he is at their border or on their soil. So, he is having a hard time getting out of Russia and won't release more info until he gets out of Russia.

American people learning how their own government is spying on them and start doing something about stopping it. Snowden isn't the issue to those who care about this democracy so to go to such lengths to try to silence him indicates that those who tell US we 'that if we have nothing to hide we have nothing to worry about' have something pretty serious to hide themselves.
