If so, he's caught in yet another lie. He told the detective that he didn't know "the suspect" had died.
Do we know the timing of when that might have happened? Surely he was aware of the paramedics attempting CPR and pronouncing him dead, right?
If not, holy cow, not only did he appear to not care, he truly and literally DID NOT CARE, not even enough to glance over and see if "the suspect" was revived.
Psychopath.
Just Saying
(1,799 posts)So he may not have seen what happened after the police arrived.
However, he saw Trayvon after he shot him, he flopped him off (if you buy his story) and he was standing right there until the police got there.

Good question.
I don't believe that he didn't know. One of the 911 calls even had the lady talking about there being a dead person outside. So she, inside her house knew, but GZ didn't? No way.

(20,002 posts)Being shot directly through the heart, I'm guessing Trayvon died almost immediately. He was probably dead when Z "pushed him off and sat on his back and spread his arms out," if you believe that scenario at all. Z claims that Trayvon tried to sit up and uttered "you got me" (after being shot through the heart). Sure.
Technically, in order for someone to "sit up" they would have to be slumped over to start with. According to Z's story, Trayvon was on top when shot (through the heart). If he had slumped over he would seemingly have dripped (possibly a lot of) blood onto Zimmerman. Lab tests revealed there was no confirmed blood from Trayvon found on Zimmerman or his clothing.
