is in my opinion, the investigator just now fell prey to MoM's leading question to get him to agree that since GZ was glad he thought there might have been video of it that it meant, when probed by MoM further, that GZ was either telling the truth or a pathological liar - then asked if he thought GZ was a liar, he said no. Sorry, but I thought the lead investigator, who suggested manslaughter charges, should have said that it (hoping it was taped) made him believe that GZ, at least, felt like HIS own actions were acceptable, but a video of such could have shown him to be the aggressor. Very aggravating.

An adult Neighborhood Watch volunteer ignores Watch rules about carrying a gun, ignores 911 operator telling him he doesn't need to do that (follow, and even said to investigator he wasn't following him, thus lying), and gets out with a loaded weapon after saying to 911 operator that another would "get away" if they didn't get there soon - just wow! How is that negligence allowed to be ignored? A white boy walking home with Skittles, with a guy following him as the boy talked on the phone in the dark, thus scaring the boy, getting killed by a black adult man would get a lot of different viewpoints on this case I think.

There were certainly issues with his prosecution case but it was not widely viewed as a total disaster, with every prosecution witness effectively becoming a defense witness.
