it's hard to know what they mean around here. A CT DU'er could mean a "Certified Turkey" as far as anybody knows. DU has its share of those.

Somebody posting that the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse just road into town, run for your lives. No clue to even which end of the US they are. Which way did they come in? Where are they? Nobody but the poster knows. What good is that to post?

Great description, but that machine isn't mine. My failure to comprehend context is a false construct of your failure to comprehend both context and humor. The responses to RC's and my exchange in this thread are hilarious and a beautiful example of how Internet message boards can create confusion. I am aghast

I live in MA, so I know where Fairfield County and the Merritt Parkway are, but even if I didn't, I would Google those two things and voila!!!

Man, it's hard to keep up. First it's tornados that are part of some conspiracy theory in Germany, or Delaware, or Connecticut. Now it's horseback riders.

There are huge delays at JFK too.

It was raining so hard here this morning I could barely see across the street. We lost power for a couple of hours.

and was hit by the outside fringe of a tornado a few weeks ago. Thousands of people including me were without power for 2 days.

grew up there. New Canaan Country Day School. Mother still lives there- when she isn't at her home here:
