Gov. Christie draws heat for attacking Obama

Referring to those low approval ratings, Christie said, “That’s what happens when you don’t have a leader at the top ... when you have someone in the executive office who is more concerned about being right than he’s concerned about getting things done, and I’m not going to be that kind of leader of New Jersey.”
State Sen. Barbara Buono — who is trying to unseat Christie — on Saturday compared the governor to a chameleon for turning on Obama, whom the governor politically and personally embraced in May for his help in securing billions in federal storm aid for the ravaged state.
“Just like a chameleon changes his colors to suit his environment, (the governor) changes his position,” said the Democrat from Middlesex County.
