Chinese aquarium stages penguin wedding ceremony

A penguin couple have wed in an unconventional ceremony at Shanghai Ocean Aquarium. The flappy couple have kindly shared their wedding video, which shows them arriving in a remote controlled Audi, before exchanging vows.

In lieu of rings, the digitally challenged penguins instead swapped floral reefs as a symbol of their ever-lasting commitment.

In fact so committed are the couple that they've been getting married twice a day since the start of the month, in what some heartless people are calling "a cynical marketing ploy".

However, the marriage of the penguin couple serves to highlight the inequality faced by homosexual penguins, after the famous recent case of the Montreal gay penguins who were separated by zoo keepers.
