Classless asshole.
Bill O'Reilly: Whitney Houston an 'addict,' 'wanted to kill herself'
While various talking heads, journalists and musicians lionize Whitney Houston in the wake of her untimely passing, Fox News' Bill O'Reilly took the opportunity to reiterate his stance on drug legalization, calling Houston an "addict" who "wanted to kill herself."
O'Reilly began his "Reality Check" segment by noting Houston's phenomenal success "170 million albums sold," and recalled her record-setting recording deal, but quickly transitioned into the morbid part of her story.
As O'Reilly put it, "like so many pop stars, Miss Houston became addicted to drugs." Like the police, he dismissed any notion of foul play, arguing that "nobody takes drugs for that long if they want to stay on the planet."

Yet, what really seemed to rankle Fox's prime-time star is that Tony Bennett called for the legalization of drugs at Clive Davis' pre-Grammy party on Saturday night.

Look I wasn't a fan of hers and I did make some jokes and stuff but O' Reilly is an asshole. How can this fucking Nimrod know what was in the mind of another person? It is ludicrous for him to assume he could know what was in her head. She died therefore she must have wanted to die is an idiotic argument, even from a person as brain-dead as he.

(46,232 posts)5. And that must mean that O'Reilly has access to the Coroner's Report??
A lot of singers had their problems and died unintentionally.
Billy Holiday
Janis Joplin
Elvis Presley
Jimmy Hendrix
Jim Morrison
Judy Garland
And that's not counting the artists who may have come perilously close to the edge but were pulled back in time.
