European journalists and news broadcasts are constantly covering news from all over.

Yet, the US refuses to cover intergalactic trials. Disgusting.

You must be confusing it with the infamous intergalactic trial against the remnants of the Kelvan Empire from Andromeda (of Star Date 2764.8) where Rojan and Kelinda were both found guilty, but were sentenced to time served in exchange for their cooperation with the prosecution. Especially Kelinda who was most helpful to the prosecution's main witness, James Kirk.
