GOP rebranding update

Republican National Committee tweets:

We need to be a party that encourages women to play an active role in what we do. #WomenAreRight
— @GOP

Actually, more like: "We need to be a party that encourages the government to play an active role in what women are allowed to do with their bodies."

As Rick Perry said yesterday:

The louder they scream, the more we know we are getting something done
.

Yeah, he actually said that. So it's heckuva' rebranding you got going on there GOP. Seriously guys, keep it up. .

Second verse, same as the first.

Why would any woman vote for a Republican? They obviously despise women. For that matter, why would any man who respects women vote for a Republican?

Why would any minority vote Republican? It's pretty obvious what Republicans think of minorities: they're all lazy, want a hand out, they're all dumb, criminals, drug abusers, etc., etc., etc., and they don't want them here. Why in the hell would anyone who isn't straight, white, wealthy, and male vote Republican?

Why would anyone who's reasonably intelligent vote Republican? Most of them say stupid, crazy things that the average person of average intelligence knows is bullshit. Why vote for someone when you know they're lying to you?

The Republican Party is moving more toward the fringe, and the party leaders--the ones who get the air time--are mostly nuts. So are their supporters who get interviewed and speak up for the right wing. They think President Obama was born in Kenya, and that he's a closet gay, planning to come into their homes in the middle of the night and take their guns away. Great plot for a movie, but most average people should know there isn't a speck of truth in there.

Frankly, I would be embarrassed to identify myself as a Republican with people like Boehner, Paul, Gohmert, Perry, Huckabee, Coulter, Limbaugh, Hannity, Beck, Bachmann, McConnell, Inhofe, Ryan, and so on...all of them corrupt, all of them liars, all of them willing to screw their own mother if it makes them a buck.

I don't think the GOP has time to do even modest damage control between now and the next election. Of course, now they can steal it by preventing the unwashed from voting.

The Democrats need to get their asses in gear and fix some of these issues, and they need to be as ruthless about it as the Republicans or we're going to have an even bigger mess on our hands.

They were probably worried we'd swoon if they said we were equal though.

I'm looking for equal. And not just words either, i want action. When they start legislation that a man has to have a probe inserted into his bum to check his prostate before he can be prescribed Viagra then they're getting closer to equal.
