The ultimate theory of what happened that night

Trayvon did not fear getting raped. He was trying to lose the uber creepy Z before entering his soon to be step mom's home. Unfortunately, in his attempts to throw Z off, he found himself face to face with him.

TM: "Why are you following me?!"
Z: "What are you doing around here?!"

Before TM could answer, he noticed the gun in Z's hand and that's when Z pushed him to the ground and ordered him to stay down (he may not have mentioned the police were on the way).

By this point, TM was scared shitless as Z mounted him to try to keep him down. TM shouted for help, and was hitting and scratching Z while trying to free himself. He got some good hits in.

At some point, TM was able to free his hands and quickly reached into his shirt (or pouch) with the intention of hitting Z over the head with it. Z thought TM was about to pull out a gun and shot him (remember, he already told 911 that TM had something in his hand).

Z quickly realized that the kid had a can of drink and not a gun, then paced back and forth as he came up with the lies he'd tell the police.

Dispatcher: Sanford Police Department. ... Zimmerman: Hey we've had some break-ins in my neighborhood, and there's a real suspicious guy, uh, [near] Retreat View Circle, um, the best address I can give you is 111 Retreat View Circle. This guy looks like he's up to no good, or he's on drugs or something. It's raining and he's just walking around, looking about. Dispatcher: OK, and this guy is he white, black, or Hispanic? Zimmerman: He looks black. Dispatcher: Did you see what he was wearing? Zimmerman: Yeah. A dark hoodie, like a grey hoodie, and either jeans or sweatpants and white tennis shoes. He's [unintelligible], he was just staring... Dispatcher: OK, he's just walking around the area... Zimmerman: ...looking at all the houses. Dispatcher: OK... Zimmerman: Now he's just staring at me. Dispatcher: OK--you said it's 1111 Retreat View? Or 111? Zimmerman: That's the clubhouse... Dispatcher: That's the clubhouse, do you know what the--he's near the clubhouse right now? Zimmerman: Yeah, now he's coming towards me. Dispatcher: OK. Zimmerman: He's got his hand in his waistband. And he's a black male.
Dispatcher: How old would you say he looks? Zimmerman: He's got button on his shirt, late teens. Dispatcher: Late teens ok.

on himself? Nigh unto impossible. Also Trayvon's hands didn't have any marks on them. This shoots Zimmerman's account of what transpired all to hell.
