Alec Baldwin unleashes homophobic and violent Twitter tirade at MailOnline reporter

Alec Baldwin has gone on an extraordinary homophobic Twitter rant, threatening a MailOnline reporter over a story published about his wife Hilaria Baldwin.

The 55-year-old actor has since deleted his entire Twitter account.

The shocking outburst came after MailOnline claimed that his 32-year-old yoga instructor wife had broadcast a series of upbeat tweets about shopping for a wedding anniversary present and fruit smoothies during Sopranos star James Gandolfini's funeral on Thursday.

Baldwin, 55, and his wife categorically deny doing any such thing.

Last night, MailOnline announced that it would be seeking urgent clarification from Twitter as to when Mrs Baldwin's tweets were posted after finding them stamped with several different times on mulitple computers and mobile devices even within the same city of New York.

In a series of poisonous tweets, the father-of-one repeatedly threatened reporter George Stark with violence.

He said:

'I'm gonna find you George Stark, you toxic little queen, and I'm gonna f*** you... up.'

'If put my foot up your f*****g a**, George Stark, but I'm sure you'd dig it too much.

'My wife and I attended a funeral to pay our respects to an old friend, and some toxic Brit write this f*****g trash.'

Baldwin then encouraged his army of Twitter followers to weigh in with physical violence.

'I want all of my followers and beyond to straighten out this f*****g little b****.'

'George Stark, you lying little b****. I am gonna f%#@ you up.'

calling the journalist a 'toxic little queen' is just too much for me. Baldwin's tweet along with encouraging violence shows what an arrogant twit he can be at times. No sympathy for either party in this case. (Not that anyone needs my sympathy or thoughts.)
