More anti-abortion wisdom from Texas: Only 'accurate' intercourse causes pregnancy

Texas is becoming something of a failed state, I fear.

The brilliance this time comes from state Sen. Bob Deuell (R-So SMRT), whose legislative website says he is “a board-certified family physician.” According to the Facebook post by his colleague Rep. Dukes, Sen. Deuell (who is now one of the R’s in the Texas Senate trying to interrupt Sen. Davis’s filibuster) had this insight during the debate:

Another ah ha moment in the senate during SB5, Sen. Duel [sic] said pregnancy only occurs after “accurate intercourse”.
But of course, any other is I assume inaccurate. Hmmmm!
That is a phrase I have never heard before. I have heard of a great deal of different kinds of intercourse, but the phrase accurate intercourse is a new one. It brings up images of missile defense systems, or a target range, or the world's most metaphorical dartboard. Pregnancy only occurs … after accurate intercourse. Not inaccurate. No, you need some precision on this one.

And these 'men' think they are smart enough to tell us women what we can and can not do !!!

They need to get out of politics and go back to school !!!

Since Republican men seem obsessed with the idea that if something that is alive inside you must stay there until it can be viable outside the body and cannot be removed and killed, maybe we should apply this logic to cancer in Republican males. And no exceptions if the life of the host is endangered.

getting the sperm on the right end of the woman, I presume? That's all the accuracy you need.

Someone please explain to Doc here how babies are made.

If this person thinks that any pregnancy caused by rape must have been consensual.

You know, part of the "legitimate rape" crowd.

...since talk about "accuracy" makes no sense without it.

If it was "real rape" then the woman would be resisting, making "accuracy" nearly impossible. So if pregnancy resulted, the intercourse was "accurate" and therefore she had consented, and so ending the pregnancy is simply dodging responsibility for her sinful ways. Q.E.D., W.T.F.

Who needs fertility treatments, when all that's required is a gun sight on the penis to ensure accuracy?

Jesus, what a fucking tool. And the scary part is, so many doctors are as incompetent as he is.

He's obviously in the wrong place. Come to North Idaho, home of the quack.
