The Supreme Court Just Shot Karl Rove's Favorite Hunting Dog!

"Bush was re-elected in 2004 because all the shitkickers showed up to vote against boys kissing, and hung around long enough to pull the lever for Bungles The Clown."--Bill Maher.

That's right, folks. Republican State governments will no longer be able to put anti-gay marriage BALLOT INITIATIVES on their ballots during elections to turn out the redneck, xenophobe vote. That's another reason why this is HUGE.

Here's the bottom line: The GOP is running out of NEGATIVE things to put on ballots to turn out the vote. The Democrats should start putting POSITIVE things on ballot initiatives to move the country forward.

How about a ballot initiative for a $12 minimum wage?
How about a ballot initiative on guaranteeing every American the right to vote, and have their vote counted fairly?

Nothing the Supreme Court did today changes what states can do in regards to banning gay marriage, etc.

supporters of such measures are "falling away" every day now.

It could also serve to rally other, non-targeted voters to GOTV.

I do think that particular breed of hunting dog is good as dead. I could be wrong.

Good to see you!
