Lawrence O'Donnell SCHOOLED those who call Snowden a traitor.

I hope someone will post the video clip soon.

It was in the "rewrite" section of tonight's program.

Those who call Snowden a traitor expose more about themselves than they do about Snowden, he said.

The Young Turks did a VERY good discussion on this last night, which I'm too lazy to try to post, too. MSNBC always gets the Lion's share of progressive "truth to power", but Cenk and the gang, do too.

Just saying....

but that's so common, its not news.

Article 3, Section 3, U.S. Constitution

'Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.'

O'Donnell made the point that, as there's been no U.S. declared war since WWII, its not possible for anyone to have been accused of such since then.

He is the Hannity of Microsoft News. Glad to see him take this stand though, its just surprising to me.

He's good for mechanics in the house and the senate...and has good instincts in elections.

International relations and civil rights, not so much. He s an abject partisan. So if you understand that when watching you're ok.

And the reaction to what has just been revealed in this country, the desperate attempt to distract from it, the attempt even to criminalize journalism, see David Gregory eg, to call people are not even citizens, see Sarah Palin re Assange eg, has caused people to stop and wonder 'whose side am I on here'. Because this is about the future of this country and anyone who puts their politics above their country, when you see the sheer ignorance displayed in the desperate attempts to make it about Snowden, it all is becoming too much even for some of the water carriers. And they should expect the backlash that Glenn Greenwald has received. Maybe watching it all has scared them, as it should.

I'm not sure if he called him a "traitor" but that actually bummed me out. I like Eds radio show.

into his old conservative habits. But he'll eventually see the light, something I like about him, he can admit when he's been wrong.
