Police shooting in Anchorage.

About one hour ago I was going to the store to get chocolate milk for my kids when I heard about 4 or 5 shots ring out. There was an officer involved shooting. I came back and spoke to the witnesses about what happened. A man approached officers and was told to stop. He did not stop and may have had a knife. He was apparently shot 3 times in the chest. He has been rushed to Providence hospital and his condition is unknown.

I've never heard random gunshots on the street...I hope I can say that on my deathbed!
