You have four choices:
1) He is still in Hong Kong. No one really saw him on the plane to Moscow or in Moscow.
2) He is in a nice cell in Beijing.
3) He made it to Moscow and is now in The Gulag in Siberia. Did you really think Putin, an ex-KGB would let all that intelligence go if in fact he really has four laptops of information?
4) He did get out of Moscow by train dressed as a woman and boarded an around the world cruise ship at the closest port with the intent of jumping ship in Panama to board a banana boat headed for Ecuador.
My money is that he's in Siberia for the time being until he is no longer useful and will then be extradited to the USA.
What is your opinion? Anyone of the above or another scenario altogether?

(154,021 posts)I suspect we might never know...his traveling on papers that also help conceal his identity.
I know those refugee papers.
Though the NSA is looking for him in signals intel.
Watch the body language of principals...that frustration comes from...we were told no, and have no clue where.

(8,159 posts)Why would anyone that knows say anything about when or where or on who's plane is is on.
Just my guess. If I was him I would much rather be in Quito then Iceland or Moscow.

(40,416 posts)Possibly at the airport hotel where he can stay w/o worry as long as he's still "in transit".
Possibly at the Ecuadorian embassy, whisked away in a diplomatic vehicle.
Possibly at the Venezuelan embassy, as for the Ecuadorian case.
Flew out of Moscow to another destination.
Those are the four possibilities, the first three were all reported during the last 24 hours.
I don't envy those journalists on that liquor free Havana flight with Snowden's apparently empty seat to stare at for all those hours, undoubtedly with only their delirium tremens to keep them occupied.

I wonder if they will keep him there?
