What do you make of this Google search?

Last edited Tue Jun 25, 2013, 09:15 AM - Edit history (1)

I live in TN. My friend and I were discussing his parents' house and the possibility of getting it listed on the state historical registry.

I went to Google, typed in "applying for" and it auto completed to "applying for food stamps in TN."

Now no one in this house is googling food stamps. We're fortunate to be doing well. Is the search resolving to my region and pumping out the most prevalent query or is TN just that big of a food stamp recipient?

I'll try Duckduckgo in a minute. Installed it a few days ago but haven't set it as default yet.

On edit: Duckduckgo: Disability, Grants, Social Security, admission to University of Texas

No "small business loan" or "college" or positive, growth oriented things.
