Not sure if he ever stumbles in here, but I, for one, would like to acknowledge his contributions to this country, his very astute political acumen, and his stances on most of the issues over the years. Your voice is missed on the national stage, and particularly with regards the issues of late.

(19,326 posts)I bet they are probably happy as hell that it worked, at least on you.
If you want to listen to Dennis, go to FOX. That's where he is.
The DU is getting weirder and weirder every day.

(19,326 posts)but then that's probably because I'm from Portland OR
where the motto is "Keep Portland Weird", being sported
every other bumper in town.
It's just the water this fish swims in I guess.
But in all seriousness, I'm sorry if you experienced my reply
as "offensive" in any way. I think I mistook your intent.

(112 posts)This is supposed to be democraticUNDERGROUND...not mainstream fluff...people come here because they find real news and discussion unlike most media outlets. Stifling discussion would just make us more like HuffingtonPost or republican controlled RollCall or Politico...let the reader be the final judge and reserve moderation for obscenity, personal attacks or trolling. I love Dennis and am not scared of him being on FOX...I loved Congressman Wexler a lot and he was n FOX often although his unexplained retirement from successfully defending liberal causes makes me wonder, given recent revelations, if NSA found something embarrassing in his email or phone calls. We need more politicians with the cajones to not care what might be disclosed about them.

He said this as his last few days to be in Congress were ticking away,
Washington DC has become "nothing more than one big Punch & Judy
Show", to amuse and confuse the masses.
