U.S. urges Russia to expel Snowden

U.S. urges Russia to expel Snowden

updated 1:33 AM EDT, Mon June 24, 2013

(CNN) -- Washington is urging Moscow to send Edward Snowden back to the United States instead of letting him fly to Ecuador for asylum.

His next destination is believed to be Ecuador.

"We expect the Russian government to look at all options available to expel Mr. Snowden back to the U.S. to face justice for the crimes with which he is charged," U.S. National Security Council spokeswoman Caitlin Hayden said early Monday.

She cited "intensified cooperation" between Washington and Moscow after the Boston Marathon bombings and "our history of working with Russia on law enforcement matters -- including returning numerous high level criminals back to Russia at the request of the Russian government."

If he was smart he'd come on back to The USA instead of going somewhere... Tx4obama Jun 2013 #3
He'd have more rights and a better life in Ecuador. So there's that. Gravitycollapse Jun 2013 #5
LOL! You're joking right? Like he'd have any rights here? We'd torture him and throw him in prison davidn3600 Jun 2013 #6

It's hard to believe that Snowden will easily slip into Ecuador because it requires Moscow and Havana to ignore the requests of the USA.

Later when they need the favor returned they can forget it.

Snowden is only staying in the airport, he didn't enter Russia. His flight is leaving in shortly.

However, it doesn't hurt to ask...

Look what happened to Bradley Manning.
We would torture this guy, throw him in a room, and then throw the room away.

There is no way that plane went there without the Kremlin approving safe passage. Putin would love to stick a finger in Obama's eye right now. This is the perfect opportunity.

NO COUNTRY on this planet should expel, or extradite any person to the U.S.

The U.S. is a country of torture.

The U.S. uses torture in their juvenile facilities; solitary confinement for children.
The U.S. uses torture in their federal prison system and allows torture by private prisons; solitary confinement, brutality, and rape.
The U.S. has special black sites the world over to torture people.
The U.S. sends people to countries that are known for torture.
The U.S. torture of prisoners at Guantanamo has not stopped; the U.S. is currently force feeding inmates.
The U.S. tortured Bradley Manning.
The U.S. trains torturers and assassins at the School Of Americas. The trainees return to their home countries and use their new skills against their own people.
The U.S. supports governments that use torture.
The U.S. does not prosecute people in their country who admit to torture; Bush and Cheney wrote books and bragged on TV stating they would do it again.
The U.S. has the world's largest prison population; 2.3 million.
The U.S. kills its own citizens with drone attacks based on assumptions; no charges, no trial, no proof, no facts.

When I hear politicians, or the president of the U.S. talk about the rule of law it sickens me !!!!
When I read the lies and propaganda the U.S. spreads about Latin American countries it enrages me !!!!!
