White House says expects Russian government to look at all options available to expel Snowden back to U.S.
(Reuters) - The White House on Monday said it expects the Russian government to "look at all options available" to expel former government contractor Edward Snowden back to the United States to face espionage charges.

Tiny little bit more at the link.

These little commandments from the US government are almost like little panicked Tweets. Short, desperate, with a hint of foreknowledge that they will be ignored.

This is just from about 20 minutes ago from Reuters.

The US can put a ton of pressure on a country like that. There's even a trade agreement renewal pending with Ecuador. Great timing, eh?

However, if Snowden stays in Russia, the US pretty much can't do squat. I'm sure the administration knows this.
