Between his constant pleadings to Jeebus (he even tossed in a Yeshua for good luck) and his father's
constant need to be a part of the show...

I would have loved to see him fall just to catch a glimpse of that mother farking Joel Osteen's patronizing mug. (praise the lawd and send me fitty bucks cuz i need another colon cleansing)

And WTF was Willie Geist doing out of his native habitat of the upper west side?

The whole christian theme of the god damn thing almost ruined the actual science of his skill.

(at least he did it, unlike evil knievel)

I didn't mind the Jesus part so much, it seemed to calm him.

His Dad trying to talk to him was a little to much.

I wonder if his kids have any interest in doing the same thing.

It would be hard to top Dad.

It took him about twenty minutes.

I do wonder if his feet hurt after walking on that cable.

and it took all his concentration.

I think it's an amazing display of mind over matter. He's not fearless, he just works on controlling the fear.

Looking straight down.

Brave guy.

I bet that pole he uses for balance weighs about 40 lbs.

It was a lovely evening. My legs dangled over the edge, hanging towards the Little Colorado river. A sudden gust of wind blew at my back bending me forward and my hat flew off into the chasm. I carefully inched back from the edge, really gripping at the loose dirt on which was my saving grace, with a modicum of fear.

And this guy tight roped it? Dayummm.

You're pretty brave too...
