Every guest on This Week with George Stephanopolis was

Predicting the sensible middle holds against the extreme libertarians who don't want to be spied on. Every one cheer leading for the NSA. Fuck fuck fuck. Rich empty suits in front of TV cameras own the narrative. I fucking give up. Head is going back in the sand so the grownups can focus on keeping me safe from terrorists and myself and my neighbors.

I don't watch that crap anymore. But have a few years of experience. What your story tells me is that they are scared. Each knows the NSA can tap their communications. Their only public defense at this point is side with those that can do them harm.

I bet they all are jealous of Greenwald, etc. who can tell the truth. And if they are willing to take a pay cut, they could too!

The domestic spying regime we're living under exists to protect them and their wealth. The hosts, guests and media owners are all members of the group so, of course, they applaud its existence.

Their only use is as a weekly summary of "the world according to the 1%". They're talking to themselves.

When and if things change in this country, it will certainly not be portended on Meet the Press or This Week.
