I guess I will have to cancel my plans for an ex straight ministry

and I was so looking to enroll Ryan Gosling as a client. More seriously, this is an amazing day for gay rights. Exodus is giving up the notion that gays can be cured. http://exodusinternational.org/2013/06/i-am-sorry/

I can think of very few groups who have the blood of more innocent gays on their hands than Exodus and its ilk. They are to living a life of truth and integrity as a gay person what laetrile is to curing cancer. But at least laetrile salesmen didn't promote cancer. Exodus promoted treating gays like crap so they would be driven to their worthless remedy for curing the gay. I am glad they are sorry, now it is time to repent. They owe it to us. They owe it to all the Bobby Griffiths they created. I have my doubts there enough years left in the lives of these people to make up for what they did. One can only hope they try like Hell to do so.

I'm skeptical that they are actually getting out of the ex-gay conversion business. Skinner Jun 2013 #1

When has the board of any organization completely abandoned their belief in their core mission? Never.

They made some reference to starting a new organization. I fear that it might end up being an ex-gay ministry with a happy face. A PR move.

I hope I'm wrong...

I am hoping they mean what they say but they will have to prove themselves.
