Congratulations to all you ReThuglican Lurkers & Trolls! I'm calling you out!!

I hope you have noticed how our Democratic "secret Muslim socialist" POTUS has not taken your precious guns away, but rather has capitulated on nearly every issue to the covert, sinister & unconstitutional agenda of NeoFascists, Banksters, Tea-baggers, the Kock Bros. et. al.

What I don't get it why you are not out dancing in the streets celebrating your complete victory over anything even remotely resembling clear-headed FDR-style Left Wing policy??? On second thought, I DO know why you're not out dancing in the streets, because under Obama it's become illegal to do so, or to pointedly publicly express any point of view contrary to above mentioned agenda. This was amply demonstrated by the "official response" to the Occupy Wall Street movement.

So, are you happy yet? How many more constitutional rights would you like to give away forever, before you say "enough!"?

Ooopsie. never-mind .. Scratch that, since there aren't any real rights left to give away.

But I'm curious, if you are happy with yourselves? Seriously. I am not being rhetorical here.

I'm curious, what, pray tell, do you think you have "won" .... by creating this NSA/CIA/DHS/FBI Frankenstein of a 100% saturation surveillance state? ... what have we "gained" by being chained to endlessly self-perpetuating "Wars on Terror" abroad and at home, that inexorably keep morphing into a war against 99% of our own US citizens, a war of hyper-suspicion, guilt-by-association, blame-the-messenger, secret laws, secret "government", unchecked systematic assassinations at the will of POTUS (regardless of party), not to mention private armies of hired guns & mercenaries to do the "private" bidding of whoever has the biggest purse, etc. etc.

Had enough yet? Will there ever be enough cannibalizing of our younger generation to wield guns & bombs & drones waging bloody wars against people of color, all in the name of "rights" and "democracy"?

Or perhaps you are getting paid to think otherwise, in which case, I know you "have your family to think of".

It's never clear who hates Obama more -- the extreme right or the extreme left.

And this:

Scratch that, since there aren't any real rights left to give away.

Gawd. Is it hyperbole, hysteria, or the emotional vomit associated with pure ignorance? I just cannot tell any more.

EDIT: The only rightwing groups who have moles in this place are those who have no life of their own. Their opinions of DU are meaningless, though too often accurate.

making that claim, there is a bevy of very highly skilled journalists, including Chris Hedges
and Amy Goodman, who are also making that claim; and that's just for starters. we could
make quite a list actually, including former NSA people who are now speaking out for the
preservation of constitutional rights to privacy, speech, assembly, you name it.

You clearly haven't had "enough" yet.

The NDAA was the final straw for me.

How are you going to like having all this NSA secret spying
and drone warfare if (God forbid) a Rethuglican ever gets
elected POTUS again?

Will it be "enough" then?

Whatever, to each his/her own.

Or perhaps I should rephrase that as "hope".

But I am writhing over the contrast between what he said in the senate and as a presidential candidate about issues such as this, and what has apparently occurred on his watch.

His recent comments about no one listening to your phone calls is also kind of painful to think about.

Enlighten us please, we like to be amused and nothing is more amusing that the opinions of Right Wingers about anything, especially their opinions of DUers, all of which that I've seen so far have been wrong.

I've never seen them express a single opinion that I would agree with in the over ten years since I became aware of that particular species of human being. But then I no longer bother reading their boring, Fox, Hannity, Limbaugh imitations, the originals are bad enough.

What do you want? Do you want Obama to fix problems in six years that took thirty to create? You want to him solve the problems of mature economies, empires in decline, depletion of energy resources and Justin Bieber?

I voted for him twice and I'd vote for him again. Is he the do all and be all of Democratic party politics? No. I'm not really interested in just how far left or not so left Obama may or may not be. I'm interested in the liberal that sits in the oval office after the Biden presidency. Or the Warren presidency. Or the fucking Bieber presidency if that's the guy that winds up running with a "D" behind his name.

you are right of course, that I should "stop" listening to any journalist
who does not tow the Administration's line, to parrot the "official"
story on everything.

Listen, I've been a life-long Democrat (leaning Green) since working on
Robert F. Kennedy's campaign staff during the 60s, did voter registration
with ACORN, voted for Obama both elections, and was a community
organizer for much of my professional life.

I've been around long enough to know when I've been bamboozled and
betrayed politically, and as much as it pains me to admit that, I must
follow my conscience, despite that apparently not being in fashion these
daze in DC.

I doubt that you give a rats ass about any of this, except to try to make
anyone who speaks up about Obama's betrayal look like a fool and a
traitor; but I try to never assume the worst about anyone, so feel free
to surprise me.
