Greek bailout vote imminent... ~80,000 protestors, buildings on fire.. its getting ugly.

Outside parliament, police fired tear gas to disperse protesters, petrol bombs and stones were thrown and buildings were set on fire.

Several historic buildings, including cafes and cinemas, were in flames.

Riot police were on high alert as tens of thousands of people gathered for a second day of protests on Athens' Syntagma Square.

Some reports say as many as 80,000 people have joined the demonstration in Athens, with another 20,000 protesting in Thessaloniki.

The resulting unrest and turmoil represents the impact of the underlying conditions.

The pressure cooker is venting, but it can explode.

I think many of us look for relief and resolve and know that the overt control and manipulation of those holding the reins impedes the necessary resolution, globally and locally.

My best to Greece and other countries, (including ours) as we encounter the threshold that has been induced and compels us all to respond.
