The American Family Association (AFA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that promotes conservative Christian values,[1][2][3][4] such as opposition to same-sex marriage, pornography, and abortion,[5] as well as other public policy goals such as deregulation of the oil industry and lobbying against the Employee Free Choice Act.[6] It was founded in 1977 by Rev. Donald Wildmon as the National Federation for Decency and is headquartered in Tupelo, Mississippi....http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Family_Association

cause as we all know, Christ preached about deregulating the oil industry.....

That's fine. I am retired. I can give those Christofascists all the permanent record they want. I guess they want a religious war like in Norther Ireland. What a bunch of scum.

I was raised Catholic and spent 16 1/2 years in Catholic schools. It took me 23 years to figure that I would go nuts if I continued believing. And I remember when I was in "Tigerland" at Fort Polk Lousiana before I went to Vietnam. I went to a "Skypilot" Catholic Chaplain who told me it was ok to kill for God. That's what really did it.

And I am amazed that the Catholic Church has sided with these yayhoos and is interfering in elections and public policy. Why don't we start demanding they be TAXED?

The very one whose leader...
graduated from Stanford University with a philosophy degree, but that hasn’t stopped him from claiming that “[h]omosexuality gave us Adolph Hitler, and homosexuals in the military gave us the Brown Shirts, the Nazi war machine and six million dead Jews” — a complete falsehood, as any historian knows.

23. Historical Importance of the Jonestown Massacre
Sun Feb 12, 2012, 01:00 PM
Feb 2012

The Jonestown Massacre, which had a death toll of 918 people, was the most deadly single non-natural disaster in U.S. history until September 11, 2001. The Jonestown Massacre also remains the only time in history in which a U.S. congressman was killed in the line of duty.

This is what happens when people are not mentally strong enough to lead themselves. They follow.

All it takes is one man to be their connection to God.
