If you have been paying attention you would see that the majority in the house and senate is where then problem lies. You say I say majority in the senate is republicon, yes that is exactly what I said. When the pukes are in the minority the senate requires there be 60 votes to pass any bill. When the Democrats are in the minority the senate operates on a 51 vote majority. There in lies our problem. Well that and the house's slim margin of pukes.
Obama is not the problem here. He's trying as hard as he can to get anything to pass, even if it requires him to lower his expectations. I'll work to get a super majority in the senate and at least a majority in the house in '14. What will you do???

Because there aren't a handful of people in the Congress and certainly none in the White House that I can recognize as a Democrat.

I don't think we have had that since the early to mid 1960s, possibly not since the 1930s.
