Of course there rarely are in this sort of mess, but in syria finding the "good" rebels to align ourselves with is exceedingly difficult.
This is an Iran/US proxy war we'll be fighting and it isn't about human rights or saving lives or any of the other pablum shit that supporters of U.S. intervention are being spoon fed like the drooling morons that they are.
both sides are avidly committing atrocities and just saying "both sides" is kind of misleading. there are lots of factions on the rebel side.

(12,081 posts)to live their lives, go to work, send their children to school all in the middle of a war zone. Those are the good guys and they are always the ones stuck in the middle and the ones who pay most dearly while people with guns struggle for power and money.
