REAL dangers in America!

As pointed out in an earlier thread, 4 Americans have died from terrorist attacks this year.
As also pointed out, 11 Americans were shot to death by children under the age of 6
26 have died from lightning strikes
About 250 children die each year from drowning in (Grover Norquist's) bathtubs
Over 30,000 will be shot to death before the year is over.

We spend about $893 billion on homeland security and little, if anything, on these other matters.
Are we by any chance "paranoid"?

1. It is quite a thing to behold

Trillions to fight a danger that has claimed a little over 3000 people since and including 9/11 while tens of thousands die early each year or suffer greatly from lack of health care and tens of thousands of gun deaths each year.

Also, we allow the NSA to collect every scrap of our electronic communication, but we refuse to register gun owners or regulate gun sales at gun shows.
