Watch for the slight of hand

while we are all looking "this way", the Republicans are busy over "there". It's an old trick and I think we are falling for it.

All I'm saying is be prepared to multi task and don't allow one distraction to occupy your undivided attention.

There is so much manufactured crap going on all of a sudden, and it clearly has permitted some other very important issues to seem insignificant....they are not.

I'm not advocating one side or the other on the surveillance, IRS or other issue du jure....just keep in mind, there are debt ceilings, employment, health, gun reform, social security, destruction of unions and continued war on women, GLBT issues and marriage equality that are not getting the face time they deserve. They are some additional issues I'm sure the Reps are happy to move on while everyone is distracted.....and it's actually quite worrisome.

Watch, that is all we can do.

The Republicans hold the power whether they are in the minority, or majority.

They are intentionally imploding this country and the spineless dems seem to be fine with it.

The spineless dems go so far as to aid, abet and enable them to do so.

The entire political dog and pony show is sickening beyond words.

10. Dems are not "spineless," they are bought off by the same people that pay the Repugs!

While we fight D's vs. R's, the 1% steal all our tax dollars and screw us all! "Spineless" makes it sound like they cave b/c they are weak. They are not weak, just corrupt. We need to do more than "watch," we need to push hard for public funding of elections. Make it illegal to bribe candidates with campaign contributions, cut out the massive influence of Lobbyist!

Corrupt and spineless.

Both parties are corrupt and greedy.

Until DC is cleansed, nothing will change.

We can not get laws repealed, or new ones passed when the fox are guarding the hen house.

Quite the dilemma isn't it ?

And even here there is mild approval from a few. If I cannot fire up more than that, and I have been posting it for months, it's going to get a lot worse before the people get upset enough to march enmass against this stuff.

2014, 2016 GOP game plan.

I just keep getting that 'someone just walked on my grave' feeling that somewhere Karl Rove is laughing his ass off.

something is not right in Denmark.....all I can do is stay aware.

Funny you should have interpreted what I said in this manner...because its a 100% reflection of what I was trying to say.

All the expressions of 'disillusionment' and 'depression' are music to their ears for 2014.

And so are the proclamations of "the parties are no different". I'm not willing to suffer the consequences because of those who can't see that far ahead.

It's amazing how fast DU tips over when a new scandal comes to light.

Now with the revelations regarding Snowden's real agenda and "ethics" we'll see if that continues

It's a very bad law, but it will probably pass, and not because nobody is watching. No, it will probably pass because the insurance companies want it. That's about all it takes these days.
