So far this year, big game applications have increased by 18,000 over the number in 2012. Colorado Parks and Wildlife processed 469,000 applications this spring, compared with 451,000 applications submitted in 2012.

In March, Michael Bane, a producer for The Outdoor Channel, announced he would no longer film his four shows in Colorado. Hunting outfitters said other people also cancelled trips.

(535 posts)We, Coloradans want SANER gun control laws, and usually makes sense when we had to deal with TWO tragedies here, Aurora and Columbine. We don't forget, and we don't like gun nuts.. (I have even worse name for those, but I'm sanitizing for the delicate flowers)
Plus, the recall law is being abused by the NRA and teabaggers to expose themselves, so when the recall fails (and it will in several ways), the lawmakers will adjust the recall laws to specific reasons for recall, not just because the gun nuts didn't like the laws. That's what elections are for. Get your idiot nut to run against Morse or Giron, and watch them lose big.
