Said that Romney used the word "Conservative" 24 times today in his CPAC speech, then played the clip of Romney saying he's not a "partisan" politician but a "moderate progressive."

(5,275 posts)Just like Darth Cheney before him, and like so many righties, Willard seems to forget the technology of video and audio.
There is video/audio all over of him sounding like a moderate democrat. He can say he's always been a strong conservative all he wants, anyone with a brain and eyes knows it's baloney.

(2,457 posts)After seeing him say he was a "progressive moderate" and then say he was a "severely conservative governor". It's kind of like watching a fish flop around on the ground, doomed to die and become someones' fish stick. In a way, that's what Mitt is, its just that the guy who might wind up eating him in Rick Santorum.
Just a little history-Massachusetts has elected repub governors before. William Weld and John Volpe are a few. But fire-breathing right-wingers these governors certainly were not! They were in fact quite moderate and they new they had to tread lightly in one of the bluest of the blue states.
