She lived next door to me until she died at 92. Husband gambled away all the retirement before he died. Her only income was Social Security, only health care was Medicare. Meals on wheels fed her well enough to keep her healthy. She got a reverse mortgage to supplement her income and a Community Reinvestment Grant ($25k) to make her home habitable. Two of us neighbors maintained her home and landscape.

Would never vote Democratic because they are all socialists.
